I miss Girl.

I haven't seen her since Mr. Wrinkles took me and Mr. Fett away to avoid the Apokalips. I don't know if she stayed or if she went somewhere like everyone else. She must have stayed. I wonder when we'll go back? Mr. Wrinkles' world with walls is smaller than Girl's. The box with pictures is always on, and there's lots of bags that make crinkly noises that he eats out of. He doesn't have a hot box like Girl; he brings in food in cardboard buckets and shiny dishes and flat cardboard boxes like Brown Fur used to love. I miss Brown Fur.

Sometimes Mr. Wrinkles tells us stories about him and Yellow. I really miss Yellow.

One day Mr. Wrinkles comes in, all happy like when something he wants to see is on the box with pictures. He's carrying sacks and sacks of the crinkly bags. He puts them down and starts gathering his clothes.

Mr. Wrinkles? What's happening?

His face lights up. "I heard from my old pal Spike. He wants to see us."

Yellow?!?!?! You know where Yellow is?!?!?!

He nods as he puts stuff in more bags. "Uh huh. He got in touch with some demons in L.A. and they traced me to the Super 8. He wants us to go out there."

US?! You, mean, me and Mr. Fett too?

"He specifically said I had to bring you."

Yellow wants to see ME!!! He must know where Girl is! Doesn't he, Mr. Wrinkles?

Mr. Wrinkles looks surprised. "Well, uh, I don't know. He didn't say. But he probably does. Hey, if he could find me in Nebraska.." He starts taking the bags out to his World with Wheels. He calls it his Beatle. Maybe because it sings?

We spend a lot of time in his World with Wheels. The Beatle sings and Mr. Wrinkles does too. If I know the words I sing along. Finally we come to a dark place with lots and lots of lights. Is this El Ay?

"This is the place. Now all I hafta do is find Wolfram and Hart."

Mr. Wrinkles stops in front of a big, big box with lots and lots of lights. I guess this is the place, but I don't see any wolves or rams. I don't see any hearts, either. We get into a small box that moves up. I don't like the way this box feels and I cling tight to Mr. Wrinkles. The box opens and Yellow is waiting for us. Yellow! Yellow! I missed you!

"Missed you too, L'il Pig." Yellow and Mr. Wrinkles slap each other's arms, then Yellow leads us to another room. He picks me up and sniffs me. He said once I smell like Girl, but now he doesn't seem as happy. What's wrong, Yellow? Don't I smell like Girl any more?

"Not as much as you smell like carryout meals." he says, and looks at Mr. Wrinkles.

"This is quite the spread!" Mr. Wrinkles says, quickly.

"Yeah, not too shabby. How are things?"

"Good, good. I'm finally getting Boomerang!"

"Good for you. Listen, I asked you here cos I got a mission for you." He reaches under a desk and brings out a bunny SA with glasses. "This is Mr. Feigenbaum. He's had a bad time just now."

The bunny sniffs and looks sad. "I lost my Girl," he says softly.

Oh, Mr. Feigenbaum! I lost my Girl too, but she came back.

The bunny shakes his head. "She didn't go away. She got replaced."

"But we're looking for her," says Yellow. "We might be able to bring her back." He looks at me and Mr. Wrinkles. "I was hoping you lot could look after him. It gets dangerous here, sometimes. Will you do that, Mr. Gordo?"

Of course I will, Yellow. Mr. Wrinkles has lots of room, don't you?

"Oh, sure, sure, the more the merrier, right?"

Mr. Feigenbaum doesn't look too sure about this. You'll like it with us, Mr. Feigenbaum. Honest.

"I will?"

Yellow nods. "Until we get Fred back, there's no better place."

The bunny sighs. "Okay. But you'll bring me back the moment Girl comes back?"

Yellow holds up his hand. "Promise."

"Um.  Okay, then."

"Great, great!" Mr. Wrinkles looks happy. "Hey, Spike, you got time to show us around a bit?"

Yellow sighs. "Like to, mate, but we can't put off looking for Fred. Longer she's away from her body, harder it'll be."

"Gotcha. Maybe next time?"

"Definitely next time."

Yellow picks up Mr. Feigenbaum and tells him, "You'll be fine with Mr. Gordo. He'll get you through this." Then he sniffs the bunny. Mr. Feigenbaum looks surprised and Yellow explains, "You got Fred's scent on you."

Will that make it easier to find his Girl, Yellow?

"It'll make things easier for me. Now you lot better get going if you want to beat the traffic." He pulls some paper out of his pocket and gives it to Mr. Wrinkles. "Watch where you eat this time."

"Okay, Spike. And good luck with your search."

Goodbye, Yellow. Say goodbye to the Green One for me. And let me know when Girl comes home.

We all go back to the Beatle and start the long trip home.
