Buffy stepped back, pushed
the hair from her eyes and surveyed her handiwork.
Pastelly striped wallpaper, check. Butterfly decoupage, check. Lacy bedclothes,
check. Funky hand-painted thrift shop vanity table, check. New Kids on the Block
poster, check. Voila! Her first grown-up, decorated by her personally bedroom!
New town, new house, new room, new school, new normal vampire-free Buffy!
Her eyes narrowed. Something wasn't quite right. Something was missing....
She dived into the closet and yanked open a box. Rummaged, then threw herself on
the bed and tucked a something pink in amongst the pillows.
"Ahhh. Now it's home, Mr. Gordo!"
