Reality Bites Again

One minute he was on Girl's bed, and the next minute…
  
Mr. Gordo opened his eyes to see a barn ceiling above him. The hay beneath him scratched and poked his sensitive skin. Rooster crowed from outside. He stretched his legs and yawned. Memories hit him as he realized what a vivid dream he had had last night. It was already fading…something about a Girl who killed Vamp Hires. How peculiar. He shrugged his shoulders.
  
Today was going to be special. His owners promised to have him for dinner! From the look of it, there would be a grand barbeque.
