For a Rainy Day

Summary: Answer to the Where's Gordo Challenge

Dawn entered the kitchen, dumped the coin change onto the counter, and went
with the milk to get a cup.

"What's this?" asked the bot, pointing to the coins on the counter. It was
making sandwiches for lunch, but still hadn't twigged to that the peanut
butter goes on the inside.

"Change," said Dawn. She grabbed the biggest cup, the sixty-four ounce one
with the chain chicken restaurant logo on it. "It's the money left over from
what Willow gave you to give me to get milk with."

"What should I do with it?" the bot asked. "What would Buffy do?"

"Put it in your piggy bank, I guess," said Dawn sulkily, as she started
pouring.

"What's a piggy bank?"

"It's a bank shaped like a pig," explained Dawn, finishing pouring. "You put
your coins in it and save them till they add up to real money." The bot
nodded and left the kitchen as Dawn started drinking.

Then her eyes widened and she made a glugging noise which sprayed milk over
the counter. She put the cup down hastily - slopping milk over the rim - and
ran out of the kitchen, gasping dumbly in futile attempts to shout, "No!
Stop!"

"And?" asked Xander.

"I was too late."
